David Prosser - 1943 - 2021

It is desperately sad that David should be the first player in our group to lose his life – on January 24th 2021.

 

David had suffered from much ill health in recent years but never lost his passion for the game of hockey or reduced the efforts he made to maintain contact with his wide circle of friends in the hockey community and especially the GB Australian Tour group.

 

The members of the group will never forget his inspiring leadership on and off the field in 1966 and the many subsequent years of wonderful friendship.

 

We have included some tributes from members of the tour group and from a few other GB players, who knew David well, along with two official obituaries.
